Wass and Cheryshev in line for international duty

Versatile Valencia CF player Daniel Wass has been named in the Denmark squad for their Euro 2020 qualifying games against Gibraltar and Georgia, on September 5th and 8th, respectively.
Wass returned to the national team fold in June of this year, participating in a 5-1 win over Georgia. He has featured as both full back and midfielder in Valencia CF's opening two LaLiga games this term.
Denis Cheryshev gets the nod again from Russia coach Stanislav Cherchesov, and is part of the squad for the matches on September 6th and 9th against Scotland and Kazakhstan.
Cherchesov acknowledged in a press conference that he had spoken with Cheryshev recently. The player has so far enjoyed minutes on Matchday 1, coming on against Real Sociedad and winning a penalty.
